Template Tuesday Freebie!

Hi, everyone! Are you enjoying Amber's new look as much as I am? I hope so!


I'm Lynette, and I am on Amber's CT... otherwise known as a gem! I love the name. :)

On Tuesdays, Amber and the team offer a template FOR FREE, and it's only available for 1 week! This week is the beautiful template created by Amber, called Wishes:



Isn't it great? I love it, and used it to create a layout featuring my daughter playing in the ocean when we were in Florida back in September. Since it's winter here in Chicago (although unseasonably warm for Chicago right now!), I wanted to think of warmer days. :)

I just happened to also use a great collab kit from Amber and Spinky Dink Scraps, available here at Funky Playground Designs. Good Morning!!

Deanna bringing the good news today, and YES it IS VERY good news this morning for at least one of Amber's many fans!  Today is the day we announce the winner of the drawing for Amber's YUMMY new year long project!   Yes, you read that right!  The drawing was for the ENTIRE YEAR of Project 1440 minis!  What a great gift.  There were 19 posts and she used random.org  to find the winner!  It chose #10

Though you might not have won anything this time, make sure to check in every Monday to see a sneak of upcoming kits and make a post to be entered to win.  The drawing will then take place on that Friday and the winner announced on Sundays!  What a great way to start out the week Jana!!  I'm sure you'll have a great time with Amber's kits this coming year.  Here is the preview of just the January kit!  Isn't it beautiful?  This kit can be found here.

I've been busy this past week trying to organize my digi stash.  I haven't found a perfect way to do this yet--but I've tried!!  I tried a free program one time and spent hours tagging and then lost all the tags when I moved my stash to my external hard drive.  I tried organizing by store--but that was before I realized designers move around sometimes.  Now I just put everything in folders according to CT>Designer>kit  or NON CT>Designer>Kit.  Then I search for things with the Window Search.  I know there must be a better way to do this, so I'll continue my search for that perfect solution!! 

This is Sunday, so I'll be off to church this morning.  My husband is the organist at our church so I get to listen to all the beautiful music all week as he practices the order of service.  It gets me in a worshipful mood for sure.  It's a great way to start the week!  I hope all the readers here have a wonderful week also!

WELCOME to the NEW designs by Amber Shaw

My team and I have been baiting you for a few weeks about big news for Ruby Lane.  Well today is the day to reveal that news to you!  But first, let me give you a little history... a little over a month ago I was contacted by the legal team of an online store that felt my design name was in infringement upon their trademark.  After much research, and a few consultations - it was determined that though this company really did not have the grounds to make such a demand, and furthermore they are missing an incredible opportunity for cross promotion - never the less Ruby Lane will be going away!  Starting today, Ruby Lane Designs is now just little ol me - designs by Amber Shaw.  All of the previous content from the Ruby Lane blog has been imported to this blog as well so you will not have missed anything!

To celebrate I have created a mini kit available in both of my stores AND I have created an add on that I am giving away for a limited time on my NEW Facebook Fan page!  Additionally I have released the 1st of many pieces to the Project 1440 Collection.  Be sure to grab them while thye are on sale!  I'm not done yet!!!  I am having a Giveaway!  Please leave a comment and be entered win all 12 of the Project 1440 monthly mini kits for 2012!
